Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share. This was a previous popular deal at $169.99 last month, this is essentially $14 cheaper, as you can turn gift cards to cash w/ FAR items! Smilie

I was looking to add one to my system. Had a $50 gift card from newegg screwing a recent order up, so $137, plus I effectively only lost $20 in gift card money. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't get this criticism. Why does buying Arlo mean you only can use Arlo cameras? You can still buy other cameras if that's what you want.

If you were looking for best bang for the buck for a 1080p or higher camera with PTZ, it is insane. What if you wanted it to integrate with your current Arlo cameras under the same interface, get triggered via Arlo logic, integrate with Do and IFTTT, don't really care about PTZ, and also want two way audio?

I have a standalone PTZ Foscam and one without from a different brand. They never get used. The Arlos we just picked up are getting used a lot. Easy setup, easy to use, and I'm able to integrate them with other products using IF and DO.

Arlos aren't great if you're wanting the cheapest solution out there. That's entirely not the point of them.

I agree with everything here. I have amcrest Ptz camera that on paper is great but the software is a disaster. The Arlo is simple to arm and watch when u get triggered.

A lot of these new ones have a pretty wide field of view. If I panned mine I'd just be looking at the wall.

Folks. These are good cams. Do consider the logitech circle too. For comparison between the two search logitech circle AT SD (the last deal I posted). I found the logitech slightly better than these though this is a good deal too.

Yeah, I was deciding between the Logitech Circle and the Netgear Arlo as well. I went with the Arlo from this deal as it has 7 day free cloud storage (vs 1 day with the Circle) and also because you can stream the feed from a computer, phone or tablet (vs phone/tablet only with the circle). Great find thanks to slickdeal alerts.

Are these really worth this much more than the $55 Foscam c1s they had a while back?

Show me a dahua completely wireless outdoor camera. If not, you might as well be comparing a mini-van to a motorcycle.

Why are you comparing them monolithically by saying one is better in every situation than the other?

Considering Amazon never shipped mine, despite them selling it and having it in-stock at many points since I ordered it on May 20th... I just cancelled it a few days ago, Realized that they over-sold it again on Prime Day, I knew I would never see it.

This model looks to require power. Right? Can you explain your use case for 100% wireless? I have yet to come up with one.
