$160.00

Thread Details

You can obviously get two ton jacks for less, but this one is all aluminum, low profile, quick rise, and is from Arcan.

http://www.northerntool.com/shop/..._200345428

$185.00 sale price
-$25.00 coupon code 248084 ($25 off $150)

$160.00 final price

Select "free store delivery", which only appears if there is a store in your area, to save on the S&H charge of $32.49. This highly rated floor jack is $213 at Amazon, so Northern is cheaper even if you have to pay shipping.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Arcan 3 ton aluminum/steel is still available at Costco if you're a member (or knows someone who is) $100:

Who thumbed this down for it not being a good price? This is $53 less than the same jack at other places I saw. Where did you see it cheaper?

Wasn't me, but I quit buying the AL jacks with AL pump bodies. The factories where these are made under a number of brands really has a problem with surface finish/no heat treat in the pump and it chews up the O-ring sealing the piston in a few years.

Your better off getting the AL frame, cast iron pump jack from Autozone. It's on the shelf everyday for under $150 and it's lasted the longest for me and I use it all the time (heavy hobby use).

Which $79 Harbor Freight jack is all aluminum, or similarly light weight, low profile, quick rise, and has 20"+ lift?

But I get the idea, Slickdealers just want cheap prices, regardless of features or quality. My mistake for posting something nice, irregardless of how much of a discount it has.

you sure are a crybaby, even in threads that aren't pertaining to your life long goal of fighting the Lowes coupons generated on renovo-power...

check the guy i quoted, pretty sure he gave some damn good reasons not to buy an all aluminum jack. but hey, why read when you can just complain about the community thumbing down a deal you think is awesome.

And so the trolling starts about a completely unrelated issue from people who for some reason dont like me pointing out that Lowes coupon generators exploit a mathematical hack that steals one-time-use coupon codes from innocent customers.

There have been very few auto or tool related deals posted by anyone other than Slickdeals employees lately. I wonder why.

The main reason to buy an all-aluminum jack is weight.

This $160 jack is only rated for 2 tons and weighs 49 pounds. The $99 Arcan HJ3000 at Costco is rated for 3 tons and does not weigh much more at 58 lbs. Not to mention that Costco has a lifetime return policy, something Northern Tool absolutely cannot match.
