I would pick the Sony's out of those three. They will fit the front. Assuming you have the sedan or coupe, they will not fit the rear. |

Hi Bay!
I have Honda Accord 2007 4-Door Sedan EX model and it's about to complete its 5 year warranty in next month. Right now it has only in-dash audio CD player with FM/AM radio as well, but no GPS and no MP3 or USB support. Question: How much of money do you think I need to spend to get these functionality: in-dash GPS, Audio/Video DVD/CD playback including MP3 files and USB port to play my music player as well. Which brand do you recommend? I am thinking to spend upto $500 but may go another $100 more if I can get a solid quality product. Is there something out there which may fit into my budget? Thanks in a lot in advance. Your help to slickdeals community is very useful to all others. Last edited by smart84; 04-28-2012 at 09:58 AM.. |

So far this is what I think I need: 2- 6-3/4'' Front speakers. 2- 5-1/4'' Rear speakers. 1- Deck with mp3/usb 1- 5 Chan amp 1- Sub 4 gague wire from the bat to the amp. 1 fuse for the amp power. I was thinking of getting an EQ for the 2nd DIN My price range is maybe 500-800 max Thank you for your help, if you have time. |

Hey BayArea,
I just purchased the Sony 6.5" for $15 from walmart.com link [walmart.com] I have a 96 Accord LX, I tested them and the holes do not line up correctly, is there a bracket I can purchase or is drilling required? Thanks and let me know whenever you can. Appreciations for helping out the less knowledgeable! It's not a great deal, until it's gone. ![]() "This is utter madness! $714.29 * .35 = $250 FIND SOMETHING FOR $714.29 to get the most out of this deal muhahahh, this is the SD affect $714.29 FTMFW!" - So long cashback |

The real question isn't if they would fit or not, but why you are even considering 'Boss' speakers? |
|

Would these be any better or the boss ones? Im just looking for something temporary to replace the stock ones http://www.walmart.com/ip/Scosche...ct+Reviews Last edited by thetrillest; 08-04-2012 at 03:23 PM.. |

I've got an older Honda with an aftermarket AutoMate AM5 [directed.com] security system.
There are couple settings that have irritated me for a long time but one that has become a bigger problem as I'm having some problems with 2 of the door lock actuators. I want to disable Ignition controlled unlocking to reduce the number of times the power locks are actuated to hopefully extend their life. I can't seem to get into the feature programming menu, I follow the instructions on page 22 of the install menu but noting happens. Is this characteristic of a Directed alarm with feature programming lockout or might it be something else? I know when it was installed, the installer programmed it manually using these menus. Would the installer really have been enough of a dick to pull out the bitwriter programmer just to lock it down (I know they didn't use it for the rest of the config? Any ideas? |

Hey guys,
I figure some of you turkeys might know this - are any of you aware of any Android phones that offer line out audio through a single dock? I have an iPhone 4 that I use a dock with line out and then a patch cable from the charger to RCA aux inputs to the rear of my head unit, but with my next phone I'm looking to get away from Apple if possible. Headphone audio to the receiver is a non-starter for me. Are any of you aware of any such Android based phone? BTW, my head unit is ancient but works fine, so it doesn't offer bluetooth (and I'm not looking to replace it.) Thanks |

Hi,
I have a Viper alarm system on my minivan. Its about 8 years old. the two remotes have been giving me problems (will not open the doors). I changed the battery and still have issues. I assume I need to replace them. I have a question: 1) How do I program the replacement remote? the model # on the remote is 473V. Its cheaper to buy through Amazon ($28) rather than directly from Viper ($80). Thank you. My top deals:
