Trying to re-program the alarm might help but it might not. Look for the manual: http://viper.com/Support/ the model number of the remote is far less useful than the model of the alarm itself Do the remotes have a light / led on them? If so look to see if it flashes when press a button. It's also possible that the antenna has been moved, damaged, or disconnected (inadvertently) or that the alarm isn't getting power most likely due to a blown in-line fuse. |

Replacing Tweeters- Alpine SPS-600C set
Hey guys, for my front speakers I have a set of SPS-600C alpine component speakers, with the separate 1 inch tweeter. Before I got my amp, I think I blew one of the tweeters and now wish to replace it. Would these tweeters be an upgrade? Would these be able to pop in and work with the current crossover built into the drivers? These are fed by a JL- Slash v2 300/4. Thank you SPS-110TW http://www.crutchfield Last edited by c0mptech1337; 09-25-2012 at 10:27 AM.. |

I need a dash kit for my 02 Ranger that will accommodate a double DIN head unit...any suggestions?
If you refer to your husband/wife as 'DH/DW', you're too old to be active on a forum.
If you ask for marriage advice on a(ny) forum, you should seriously reevaluate your life. If you don't know the difference between 'their', 'there', and 'they're', I automatically assume you have a mental disability (same goes for to/two/too and your/you're/yore). |

The what fits my car tool has some additional options for a ranger that you didn't specify.

I want to get a new double DIN radio unit for my 2006 Grand Prix. I have a general idea of what I want it to do but I'm still researching how I'm going to get it. Are there any pitfalls that a total newb to this field should be aware of? Are the online-dealers' "Will This Fit?" filters trustworthy?

HI All
I have an old soundstream D100 that over 20 years old that just went bad. It probably sounds better than 80% of the amps out on the market. I dont know if i should get it repaired or not. I was thinking about buying one of their reference 4 760 amps. Does anyone have or have experience with these new amps? I dont need alot of power. Im looking for a amp that has tight bass, no midrange suckout, and neutral highs. Thanks z |

2005 Subaru Legacy GT. 2 major problems:
1. Radio is very fuzzy/staticky. Where would you look for the problem? I think I read that there may be an inline amplifier located somewhere near the rear of the vehicle that can go bad. 2. My model year has no auxillary input which drives me crazy, and I believe the head unit + HVAC controls are all together. Any inexpensive options? FM modulators suck, so prefer to avoid that. The only decent solution I've found is a kit from a guy on NASIOC which requires that you disassemble the radio. Replacing the head unit doesn't seem to be a realistic option, unless you know something I don't. Also, how would you rate the difficulty of dash disassembly for a Subaru Legacy overall? Thanks! |

I got the in dash receiver that's on front page today . I have a Nissan sentra 2005. I installed the HU, but it doesn't power on. Checked all the fuses and wiring still no dice. Then I tried to put the stock one back, now it won't turn on either. I can't figure out what the problem is. Any suggestions? Thanks!
