As a cord-cutter and someone who PAYS for YouTubeRed, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video because I personally dislike commercials and ads, I was shocked to see commercials play before some of the "prime" marked videos (not HULU, etc,) I watched on my new Fire Stick. Apparently Amazon prefers to call these commercials "video snippets". Here's there response...

"Amazon provides these video snippets to share information about the benefits associated with your Prime membership, such as news about a new Amazon Original series or details about devices that support Prime Video.

To help you with this I have researched our resources and see that you can't turn off the short video snippets that appear before and after select Prime Videos."

well, amazon is forcing people into more and more of its stuff. For example, even if you are a prime member, there are some deals, that are "exclusive" if you have Alexa and so on.

Yeah notice this long time ago. This is why I predominately use netflix. Amazon is always sneaking in ads here and there. Disguising, but it's what you have to put up with. This is why I use my prime mostly for the free fast shipping.

I love how they mix in pay content in to the prime video selection and will randomly turn on 1-click. Been burned a couple times letting the younger kids use the fire tablets and having to call to get refunds for movie rentals due to this.
