Is this a good deal? I am about to pull a trigger on an Open Box for $417 (including tax). It has everything I need/want, but cannot find any review on quality and speed etc. Thanks in advance!

I've been watching this and similar models for months. For 14 inches fhd convertible and similar specs , haven't seen anything comparable to this price for non refurbished.

Thanks! Is this the same laptop with 256GB SSD? If yes, this is not much more expensive than the 128GB model and I would go with the bigger hard drive.

Thanks for the link to your review. It's a good review from somebody who knows computer. Can you please confirm the link I posted above if it is the 256GB SSD version of the same laptop you bought and reviewed?

Thanks again! Why did you dissemble the brand new laptop? Are you upgrading RAM and Hard Drive? Is it hard? And can I use Stylus on this laptop?

I have a 1tb ssd drive I'm going to throw in there (I'm planning to run VMs on this machine)
I wanted to upgrade the machine to 16gb of ram, but right now single DIMM 16gb ram is stupid expensive and unfortunately, the machine only comes with 1 memory slot Frown

This is very temping. I had been looking at the Yoga 710 from the previous deal (now dead) that had the 256 GB SSD. Does this Lenovo have the same issue with the right shift key? I saw a lot of complaints about the key's placement making it awkward to use. Also, as someone else asked above, is the model on clearance with the 256 GB SSD that doesn't cost much more the same specs otherwise?

Unless you buy it directly from Lenovo, do not expect a full one year warranty. Usually 10 months left, may be less if the unit sit in the warehouse for too long. This might be the case. However you can purchase extended warranty through Lenovo web site

Btw, I owned this laptop and even though the price is great, the build quality is terrible. Battery life is below average, shallow keyboard and bad screen. I return mine to BB after 2 weeks with this one (bought it ~$600 shipped open-box). But for around ~$430 shipped this might worth a shot for some of you. Not for power user I guess.
