Same here. Curious to hear what SDers think of this. I'm looking for a 17.3" laptop that can handle a bit of gaming and this seems to be a good balance of features and price. I just think I can get it for cheaper if I wait.

If you wait about 3 years it will be really cheap.... TD are probably due to recent deals such as this:

Not really. GTX 960M is not a very powerful card to utilize 4GB VRam. In some shader heavy games you may get some extra frames per second but IMO that does not worth the price you are paying here.

This is an incredible Deal IMHO if you're in for a 17"

You can upgrade to i7 6700hq for only $110 more.. which comes out to $770.. without SSD

That's pretty major, considering it comes with an IPS panel.

There is also the 4K IPS panel option for another $180..

I just got one of these in today. Pulled out the 1TB hard drive and popped in a $109 480GB Sandisk SSD. It's great. Warcraft runs on Ultra just fine. I stayed with the 2GB GPU and a plain SSD instead of an NVME m.2 because everyone says you can only notice the difference in benchmark programs. So far it's great. I debloated and am now backing it up. Gaming and backing up at the same time still isn't slowing it down. The 1080 IPS display is very good.
