Cartwheel for Target has 25% off Dualshock 4 controllers [target.com] for the Playstation 4, bringing the price from $60 to $45 plus tax. It should work for all colors, but I don't think it works for the special edition ones.

If you Price Match Amazon [amazon.com] , you can get the Black Controller for as low as $35.25 + Tax. YMMV, as it is technically not allowed to stack PM with cartwheel, but (thanks Georgi55) if you purchase multiple items, you can get away with it if the cashier either doesn't notice or care.

I would assume this is In Store only, as I don't believe you can use Cartwheel online, but please correct me if I am wrong.

Also, this is my first deal posting I believe, so if I am missing something, please let me know what to include.

The cartwheel expires on 7/23/2016, so head there before then!

Thanks to Georgi55 for confirming that it CAN work, but YMMV for the PM (used his advice and tried the multiple purchase trick, worked for me in San Leandro, CA)

PM to Amazon @ $49 (I wanted red for the wife) and 25% off stack worked - I think the trick was checking out with other items.

Since the Cartwheel app will not show what the item is for and just the count and bar code, if you just checked out with PS4 controller and asked to Cartwheel they might catch up to it and tell you you cannot do that (that's the official rule per terms [target.com], but if you have other items they will most likely just scan it.

The system automatically takes off the 25% discount from PMed price.
I went back around noon to purchase the black one to confirm the $35.25 price.

In the past I have been able to price match and use cartwheel as well.

YMMV but PM to Amazon at $49, should come to $36.75 if they let you cartwheel after PM, and if you have Red Card $34.91

Thanks for sharing

Ehhhhhh, only saving like $2-3 compared to say Amazon's normal price. (Walmart has same price as Amazon) Equals out even more if no Amazon tax and if you use their card. This isn't a slickdeal, which would've been in the $30's like in the past. That being said, it's still lower than Amazon. So, I'll neither td or tu. Just neutral. But if you can price match and cartwheel, you have a sd.

I'll check at my local target in Emeryville or Alameda and report back to see how the pricematch attempt works.

Thanks for confirming! I wasn't able to try it here until this morning, but I used your trick and it worked great!

failed in LA. Cashier refused to use cartwheel once price matched, no matter how many other products I had through cartwheel. Extreme YMMV.

Do you just ask the cashier to PM or is this a service counter thing?

It's service counter. From my experience, just don't mention the controller is cartwheel, and they'll just scan it and it should be fine. Good luck though!

Thanks OP. I just got myself two new controllers with this deal. Checked in with a few other items like the other SD'ers suggested and mentioned that i had a cartwheel only after they had PM'd and scanned everything. Good Luck.

They probably won't PM Costco since it's membership based. I think I've asked at Best Buy and its a no go.

Clearly states on their website that they match Costco.
