Amazon.com has the HAME H16 11,000mAh Power Bank w/Metal Body (Gold Color) for $12.99 shipped

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ODNPZ5A/

The previous price of this power bank was $15.99

Dont know if its a good deal but seems like a good price $13 for 11,000mAh and small pocket sized power bank with a metal case, ill let the votes decide if its good or not.

Think this is a solid deal, especially for power / size. It looks slimmer than my LePower 14000 and would definitely be more convenient than my 20k anker that sits at home because its literally too big to lug around.

Thanks for the feedback Smilie I was going through the Amazon.com reviews though and some of them complained that the weight is an issue for some people since it has a metal body and some people said it stopped working after 1-3 months. Anyone used any Hame products before? are they usually reliable? it has 4/5 stars on Amazon.com

It's just another generic private label Chinese power banks. Don't expect much.

yah its likely made by the people who make the low quality Samsung, lg, HTC, and Apple devices. people need to buy thing made in the USA by union workers and companies that don't care about quality.

I'd rather have a strong plastic device then one made of metal.

Be very careful with these type of batteries. They can completely fry your phones motherboard. Happened to me in the past with a cheap battery backup.

I have one with a similar body to this. I'm not sure it is as fast at charging as my other power banks, but it is a lot heavier than it looks

At any rate, I think for the price & mAh it's an ok deal. TU

What they meant was generic power banks from china generally have grossly inflated ratings.
typically they either use used batteries which no longer hold a full label rating, or they just blatantly lie and use smaller capacity cell's.
there is actually very little inside a power bank.. it's not much more then some batteries, a box, a charge circuit and a voltage regulator.

the last generic power bank I bought from china was rated for 13,000mah and actually only produces about 2000mah.. mind you a GOOD 18650 cell can hold 24-2600
this particular power bank had 4 18650's but they was so pathetic each sell could only hold like 700mah, then you also have to account for inefficiency so you'll actually only end up getting like 80% usable energy of what ever the cell is rated for.

so for example a single cell 2600mah bank would likely only be able to recharge about 20-2100mah worth of battery.

You're much less likely to find that sort of misrepresentation on an American made product. (although you'll still have to deal with inefficiency)
