Sears is currently having a sale on garage door openers. You get $60 back in points for your purchase.

I ended up buying a 1/2 HP with Key pad and 2 openers for $143.99 - $15 off $100 Coupon making it $129. Plus I had a few other coupons and with their friends and family sale I ended up getting $103 points back on my purchase. I'm not sure on the breakdown of those $103 points back, but even with $129 for the garage door opener and $60 in points back its a great deal.

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

FWIW, I don't need a garage door opener (knock on wood) but went through the steps just to see what I could get. With the various coupons available in SYW, here's what I'd end up with:

Total Savings
Family & Friends! Get an Extra 10% Off Tools PLUS Members Get an Extra 5% back in points! -$16.00
Members get $15 off their order of $100 or more! Items must be Sold by Sears. -$15.00

Also earn $81.45 (81,450) back in points

So altogether, I'd get $31 off up front and $81.45 back in points. At $137.86 up front with tax and $81.45 in points later, that's a net cost of $56.41 for a $200 opener. That's slick! TU and repped, even though I won't be buying one (though I'm extremely tempted...).

I'm thinking about buying this just for the extra remotes.

Wait.. I just checked my order details and it says 0$ points earned. But in the cart it said $113, should I wait? And I didn't get pickup notification yet.

Just a heads-up to everyone actually going through with the purchase and looking at all those points: be sure to read the fine print about when those points expire. When I looked at the breakdown of the bonus points I'd get back, some are only good next week and the rest need to be used up shortly thereafter. YMMV.

It took about 10 mins, once I got the pickup notification the order details updated with the points.

OP, I would change the title from "openers" to "opener" as I went through them all and the 1/2 that you linked to is the only one with anywhere near $60 in points...
