Anyway to Forward a call to 2 numbers? similar to Google Voice

We live in an apartment complex where to doorbell system is where we get a phone call (one number) and we dial something go buzz the person in... So we are hoping to find a solution where both our phones ring when our doorbell is rang and one of us can let whoever in. So I was thinking Google Voice would be perfect for this, but we both use Google Fi already and we can't have a GV number forward to Google Fi.

So anyone have any solution for us? Currently right now, we just have a GV number to an Obihai device within the apartment.. But we would prefer having both our phones ring.

Couldn't you just buy any run of the mill wireless home phone kit that has multiple receivers? Or are you trying to get both of your cell phones to ring?

Trying to get both our cell phones to ring.

Basically Door Bell System calls one number.. that one number rings both our phones (similar to Google Voice).

https://ring.to/ would work. but you can't sign up Frown They were supposed to transition to a paid model but decided not to for now and closed user registration. Another similar option is 3jam but it's $5/mo.

The Obi can also forward calls itself

A little harder to call 2 phones this route.

You could also pay for a really cheap voip line and install VOIP clients tied to that account on each phone. You wouldn't need the OBI but you could have the OBI and your cell phones all ring at the same time. This option is more work to setup, but you could probably do it for less than $20 / year. eg. flowroute is $1.25/mo + $0.012/min. callcentric is a good cheap option too

You could also have the OBI forward to a SIP account with no phone number (free from someone like https://ekiga.im/) with a VOIP client on each phone.

Downside of VOIP apps on your phones is reduced battery life.
