free HDMI cable makes the deal
Updated with the EVGA ACX 3.0 FTW card. 450W is fine with GTX 1070 as the Power consumption at highest load is 165W max. The system will never exceeds 310W in both CPU and GPU load as per the various review. If you are planning to add 6700K, custom cooler and overclock heavily or plan to upgrade to a GTX 1080 then pay $22 and get a 600W PSU as I mentioned.

While selecting the McAfee, you can select code only which will deliver you the code instead of pre-installed.
oh yea? where can you find an EVGA 1070 FTW for under $450? produce a link dumb ass.

and no, you can't get a Gold rated 450W SFX PSU for cheaper. the EVGA version is $90, the silverstone is also $90, but there is a $5 rebate that's not even worth filling out and wasting a stamp on. there are ZERO alternatives. these are the only 2 quality SFX PSUs in existence only like 5 retailer sin the entire US carry them, and they are $90+ everywhere.

while you can in fact get a 500GB SSD for $100, it won't be as good as this intel or a Samsung 850 EVO. they are all priced around $150 or higher. substituting cheaper parts doesn't make it a better deal,

450w is a little skinny.

Evga 1070 ftw is a free upgrade.

You won't need more than that for a 1070 + a i7 6700 (non-k), so that's a moot point.

You should be reformatting with a standard Windows iso anyway.

as far as I can tell, everyone's is still being built. I don't even think mine started yet and I ordered on 7/7.

I configured with the current deal and my build is basically the same, except it would only cost $40 to jump up to the FTX GPU. Maybe I'll call them tomorrow and see what they can do, but likely they will say cancel and reorder.

Be prepared to wait about a month or more for these. Also if it gets too hot in the case, figure out how to modify it, or transfer the contents to another case :-\. Still a good deal in my honest opinion.

I ordered it on the 5th, I think. still haven't received it. I removed the steam controller and upgraded the psu last time it was around. kind of wish I changed the mobo and upgraded the cooler though

Any experts care to breakdown the cost of DIY vs buying this? Would appreciate close to SD prices if possible since I'm not in a hurry to play with one immediately. thanks a bunch, in advance!!
