Lowest price I've seen yet! Great deal, really fantastic. "Oh, the pain. The pain."
A couple of weeks ago I watched "The Great Vegetable Rebellion" episode and wondered "Why is this not in my collection??"

Nice to see that there are a few LOS fans here--I have the DVD version when it released way back when; heard good and not so good things about the BD version, the not-so-good being pretty much about either the packaging and/or how some of the discs won't play unless you do some TLC to them (i.e., wipe with a soft cloth).

Wonder if there ever will be an official BD version of Ultraman (I have the DVD collection of that too)?

This was really my first exposure to sci-fi as a kid. Damn robot would scare the crap out of me but Penny and Judy made up for it.
But I'm not sure I can watch it. I tried re-watching the original Star Trek but can't do it. Maybe it's just too old for me to revisit.

if you like the classics this would be a good deal. the only question i have is why does it have 18 discs for just 83 episodes?

Was 23 per season so 69 bucks, for me I prefer the digital copy, but the transfer to HD was gorgeous, even in the first season in black and white

You must not be very picky. iTunes compression is brutal.

5 episodes per disk (on average) at roughly 51 minutes per episode; maybe they're using just single-layer BD discs instead of dual-layer ones. Other than that, I dunno...but I do know that there is some skipping/glitching/freezing during playback on my first two discs (so far) just as described in the Amazon review--if I reload the disc I can replay the glitched section without issue. And yes, whoever it was that came up with that lousy disc sleeve design to store the LiS discs needs to be fired...
