COupon Code: PRIME10

Highly doubt you just received a generic email only stating: "$10 off your $35 prime order"....with an attached simple coupon code.

What are the terms and conditions/program tied into ? PrimeNow ?

Facepalm

The code itself is very generic...so highly doubtful it was just made for you.

Even so...they are usually tied into a specific offer/program (i.e. again PrimeNow).

The email itself should tell or give you a clue what it is related to. This really isn't rocket science or should be a complex mystery.

I got the same email too and was about to post about it. "The promotion is offered by invitation-only to a limited group of members and is valid only for this e-mail address." No particular program attached. "Prime Day may be over, but the deals continue. Prime members can shop Lightning Deals 30 minutes early, every day. And to make shopping even better, here's an offer exclusively for you: get $10 off your next Prime order of $35 or more." OP already indicated both that it was for Prime orders and email invite only . It's not rocket science and/or a complex mystery.

I don't care what OP "indicated"....at least an attempt at some details so others may be able to replicate are needed.

With the additional details...it seems to be related to Prime Day and either Prime members using (or didn't use any discounts) may be targeted.

So yes, it's not rocket science to cut and paste an emails terms and conditions.

Got an email from them for one of my Amazon accounts but not the other so it's really a hit or miss.

I tried to use the code (received the email at my Prime email address), but got the following message:

"The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase"

I chatted with Amazon Prime CS, and they claim that the email did not originate from Amazon, and the code is not valid. They called it "spam" and asked me to forward the email to stop-spoofing@amazon.com

I don't think it is spam. I see the offer on amazon itself. SS attached
