Bass heads rejoice!!! This is very good set of IEMs. I had the XBA-Z5, Sony's current TOTL flagship. It's not a significant dropoff. The Z5 goes for $600.

How durable and comfortable are these? I'm looking for something that would be usable while doing cardio at a gym.

This is an old model. Camel indicates it's from 2010. It really should be a lot cheaper in 2016.

Had these and loved them. Treble on these is truly fantastic but the bass is flabby, bloated, and shallow. I've heard that the xba-a3 has mostly fixed that issue tho

Don't think these would be good for the gym because I have the H1 and they're huge. They would easily fall out and I don't think they're really sweat proof.

I guess YMMV? or these are bigger then my XBA-A3. I used to use them in the gym and it doesn't fall out. How are you liking the H1? tempted to grab these H3 since my A3 broke.

Not sure how the size of the H1 compares with the A3 since I have not used the A3 before but my H1 are big. They stick out quite a bit and the cord can easily pull them out. I actually just got the H1 and am still burning them in, but I'm enjoying them so far. The bass is really good and the highs are very clear. I have read that the H3 are better than my H1 but the A3 are more improved so I'm not sure if they will really be an upgrade for you.

Meh, I was on a business trip in Tokyo and decided to buy myself the A3 on a whim. Too lazy and don't want to spend as much for a pair of Sony IEM so these H3 seem like a better choice. hmm in that case, i might just nab one. .
