Wow, only two posts before the obligatory "safety razor" post. Congrats on being even more overzealous than your safety razor peers.
I really dislike Dorco blades. I suggest getting a decent safety razor instead. There are many good blades, from Derby (foolproof), to Feather (super sharp), and others in between, like Shark, Astra, and Personna. Price per hundred blades can vary from nine to twelve bucks, with Feather being crazy expensive at twenty-five cents each. You can probably expect to get five to ten great shaves per blade, and double that if you just want decent shaves.

Here is a great value razor, currently eleven bucks:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SA7YS58
Here is a really nice razor (Merkur), currently 21 bucks:
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B004VBISXU

I also like my Edwin Jagger handle, but there is not a great deal at this time.

So for twenty bucks, you could get a decent razor and 100 blades that would give you a year of great shaves or two years of good shaves. Or throw caution to the wind and spend fifty bucks on a Merkur handle and a hundred Feather blades. Personally, I think the Personna blades are _almost_ as sharp as Feather, and about half the price.
It's all a matter of opinion. These are plenty fine for most.

Is it safe to use a safety razor when you share a bathroom with your wife? Once in a while, she would bump me while shaving.

Not really. I have acne from time to time and it can also lead me bleeding. Factor in the prep needed sometimes and it can get very not worth it. The benefit though is one smooth ass shave though.

Dorco gets the job done. It's not going to win you any "world's smoothest face" awards but I like their blades.

One blade typically lasts me about 6-8 weeks or so with proper clean up and brushing of blade after shave. I typically buy one refill pack a year.

My wife hates the lady-Dorco though, nicks her like crazy. I don't even remember the last time I nicked myself with the mens though... I think it was way back in the dark days when I was still overpaying for Gillette.

How are these blades for manscaping purposes; or would another razor be recommended for that?

I'm in, just like normal on all these Dorco promos.

i have a beard, so i only shave my neck and cheeks.

People will complain that these aren't the best, but at a buck a pop, these will last me probably 8 months.

If I want to be quick, maybe a minute. Two minutes might be average. I used to use a shaving bowl and brush, but now I just wet my face and run a shaving soap over the whiskers.
