They suspended that about 3 years ago. At least in Houston.

Only some areas have a cap, None in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Houston, Missouri, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, California, Washington or Oregon. In the western half of the US at least.

The package is called Internet Plus with Blast Pro and depending on where you live it could be as high as 200mbps.

I went over my data cap two months in a row last summer. Charge was $15 per gb over. I was directed to the business service which has no caps. Asked the rep if I could cancel anytime which he assured. Told me I needed to sign a contract to get it started. Missed the small print that said three years and an ETF for fhe full remaining balance. Can't wait to quit them completely.

1TB limit could VERY easily be hit by a family of 4 streaming 1080p.

4K = 7GB/hr
4 x 1080p streams = 1 x 4K stream

@150Mbps, everyone will hit the 1TB data cap in 2hrs: http://www.dslreports.com/calcula...ed=150Mbps

So, everyone will be paying a $50 monthly fee on top of this. Comcast isn't stupid, they're one of the richest companies for a reason.
