You never really see deals on graphics cards during BF. If anything, they will match this deal for the 970 (keeping the Paypal perk in mind). Post-BF, probably -- but that's an era away in the video card world.

Hmm should I jump on the 970 or wait til Black friday? I am in no hurry, just want to play SF5 on ultra. I am guessing this will be a pretty big jump from my 650 Ti Boost.

Or wait until the RX 470 goes on sale or the 4GB RX 480 comes back in stock or the 1060 goes live in 2 hrs....

hmm ok. Upon more research, I should wait until more info on the 1060 comes out. Right? Looking for a card in the $250 range.

Thread title says the 970 is $174.99 AR, description says $199.99 AR. Which is it? I would definitely consider biting at $175 but I don't see any way to get the price that low.

EDIT: Derp, I didn't realize the Paypal code worked on the sale price. It'll drop the price to $204.99 and you can still apply for the $30 rebate.

Reviews of the 1060 will be released within a couple hours by various sites. It might be worth waiting to see if the 1060 really is as good as a 980. If you need a card now, the 970 for <$200 is a great price. If you don't need a card now, wait until the dust settles with these new cards.

is this a good deal for 980Ti if I am not concerned about power consumption? I get lost in the wide array of different modifications.

344 for the 980 is tempting... Still waiting for 1070 to be 380

quick question for those that might know, I would like a video card that I can max out at 1080p (or close to max out) any game I play. I don't plan to use vr, 3d, or 4k anytime soon. One of the things that appeals to me about the gtx 10xx series is the really low power draw which means less heat (I have a pretty small ITX case), so I think i'd like to stay away from older cards. WHich card would you guys recommend for me? thank you.
