Reviews seem decent for a budget model http://www.trustedreviews.com/d-l...10l-review

It's not got gigabit ethernet ports so max internet speed would be 100mbit, and the radios can only do 433mbit on ac and 300mbit on n, but at least it does have 5ghz. No USB ports though.

Also looks like you can flash ddwrt and openwrt.

I've had it for a few years...it's decent considering we have like 10-12 things hooked up to it 24/7 with 100mb internet burn'in it up!

Thanks, bought 2. Will put one on each end of house in basement. Should cover the whole house, and outside patio. Cheap upgrade from the one N300 I have now.

Is it dual active or dual switch?

Edit:- It's mentioned as "Simultaneous Dual Band" so it should be fine.

Can this be used to replace my rented Verizon fios router. Any advise is appreciated.

Biggest problem with this is that the wireless is faster than the wired.

Good luck finding the single consumer available AD router for this price. Wink
AC is current at the moment and works with all common previous generations of WiFi devices (a/b/g/n).
