I have this watch. Love it. Battery lasts forever and it looks a lot more professional than the plastic pebble time.

The included red bands is garbage though. It's not nearly as deep of a red as it shows in any of the pictures and it has kind of a weird texture. It looks very cheap in my opinion.

I replaced it with this [amazon.com] band and it looks very good in my opinion. The gold on the clasp is a little different shade of gold (it's a little more of a copper shade) but it isn't very noticeable. There are all sorts of bands available on Amazon. Just look for any 22mm band; it's easy enough to change with your finger or a small screwdriver (or obviously a tool).
Just bought one of these for $61.00 after tax with Groupon promo code JUNGLE. See the other Groupon FP post from today about the details of using that code.

PS. Groupon has the Silver or Gold on sale today for 99.99 before the 40% discount code mentioned above. These are Manufacturer Refurbished models with a 90day Pebble Warranty and 14 day free return policy through Groupon.

I really like the original band (have not seen it in real life though) from the photos it looks like a really nice maroonish red. Was the watch you bought "new" or a "refurb" ?

Refurbished. It is not maroon. It is bright red. The stock photos make it look darker than it is. This picture is closer to what it looks like. http://m.imgur.com/J1XZuEC?r

Just to fill this in, the Groupon deal is for first time Groupon users only.
Link to Groupon [groupon.com].
Directions for getting 40% off are from this thread here. People in that thread are reporting it dead for electronics but there also seems to be some confusion about that. I'm not going to make a new Groupon account to test it. Just a heads up. $99 is nice; $62 would be incredible.

EDIT: I did end up trying it. It didn't work.

Thanks for updating the link. It worked fine for me with a new account from a 3rd party Web browser (doesn't work on Groupon app). These Pebble Time Steel watches are an additional $10 off today before promo code on Groupon. Also, I have a Manufacturer Refurbished Pebble Time that I bought in a previous Groupon deal and it looks and works like brand new even 2mos later. I think this Groupon/Pebble combo might have been the best Slick Deal I've ever bought.

PS. This deal is not for first time Groupon users. It is for new accounts. I have five accounts with Groupon and their new user promo codes have worked with every single new account I've created. Just need a separate email address for each new account. Same credit card used in every new account, no problem.

Dang, missed it by trying to add on cash back from urlhasbeenblocked. Had it in my cart with 40% off applied and by the time I tried to check out again, it didn't work anymore. Head Bang
