Update: No longer available for subscribe & save and is now an add-on item.

I posted it last time and it quickly sold out. This is one of the cheapest ever. I've gotten $8.50 per pack before after 15% S&S discount earlier this year. But the price has been $12.99 until this week. It's $9.20 right now.

$8.74 w/ 5% or $7.82 w/ 15% Subscribe and Save

Yes there are cheaper beef jerkies out there, and some you can argue are tastier. But they all have Sodium Nitrite. That preservative is a known carcinogen and it kills your liver cells. Oberto sets it apart from the rest because it has no artificial ingredient and preservatives.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Yeah, I'd prefer trying out the Ball Park jerky because I love pork jerky. But the $3 coupon is dead. So it's $6 for 5+ oz, rather pricy. I don't know why people kept saying the deal is still alive.

A link/association doesn't mean it causes it.

Nitrites and ingestion of high amounts of most any preservatives in smoked or cure meats are associated with stomach and other GI cancers. But, it doesn't stop me from eating this stuff.

Correlation is generally the best you can establish with this type of research. Any individual study should be taken with a grain of salt, but these results suggest that limiting (not necessarily eliminating) sodium nitrite intake is a good idea.

Since when is 10oz X-Large. I would expect at least 16 oz or a lb for Xtra large. $12.50 per lb with 15% off which isn't bad.

I'm thinking it's your body, why take chances when there's a viable alternative?

I know I'm gonna open up a can of worm, but similar with pollution. Why take chances, it's the environment you live in. Make some sacrifices somewhere to increase the chances of living healthier/longer.

Last time I bought it when it was on sale. It was all rotten with white/green mold all over... Very disgusting. The customer service told me that they could compensate me with some coupons. Really??
