GMC is having a promotion that knocks 20% off the MSRP of a select few GMC Sierra Crew Cab SLT trucks on the lot.

I just bought myself a new one and I love it. I had a '08 Sierra (it'll be for sale shortly) and I've been wanting a 4x4, so I jumped at this chance.

Promotion runs until dealers sell out of the alloted trucks on the lot or July 31.

My example was $54k price sticker and I paid $43k. Price varies depending on the truck. Go on the link above and search dealers.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Yes, for the older 2016 body style. I don't recommend buying one because it's already a generation old. The new 2017 Acadia is out now, completely redesigned.

does the slt have the 6.2L? that's the only motor in any half ton that I would consider giving my ecoboost up for. already test drove an Ecodiesel and just couldn't give up the power.

It is completely redesigned, but I wouldn't write off the 2016; the 2017 is smaller than the 2016, and there's no eight passenger option at this point. Depending on the deal, it may be very well worth it to buy the last of a model year. I bought a GMC Sierra before the body redesign, and I ended up selling it for more than the purchase price two years later.

Not sure. I believe 6.2L is only found in the Denali BUT I COULD BE WRONG!! I can not give a definite answer.

Good points. Thank you for your opinion.

wife has the 2016 model already and i wouldnt be so eager to jump on the first year of a redesign

first year redesigns usually have tons of issues that take 2-3 years to work out completely

and as someone else mentioned, no 8 seater option...for those who want that
