idk man.. i7 6700 with gtx960m on that pavilion 15inch for approximately this price.

The flex feature isn't terribly useful, because this is too heavy to carry around with one hand..

I know, I don't Lift.. it's all my fault.. hahahahah.

CPU is good along with an ssd and pretty good ram not a bad deal good find op

It is not a gaming laptop by any means and targeted towards a different audience. So comparing it with a full blown heavy gaming laptop does not make it a bad choice. Also it is more than 1 lbs lighter than the 15" Inspiron model, has better battery life.
