SD should just make a new section for prime only deals. This is worthless for anyone who doesn't have prime but SD - an Amazon shill - wants referral credit.

They should probably also make a section for people who like to thread crap on deals they don't like. Feel free to use the thumbs down button and be on your way.

Personally, I find Prime to be a great service, and I appreciate this deal! Thanks OP!

I'm not sure what the "deal" is, but it appears they switched the product on us. The link takes you to a USB adapter (for which the code doesn't even work). I'm guessing the "USB 3.0 Super Fast Transfer Rates Mini Multifunctional Titanium Aluminide Ultraslim Card Reader" is OOS. If that's the case, I'd rather be taken to a page indicating such rather than to a different product altogether (the old switch-a-roo). Reviews don't even match up. They're mostly (if not all) for the Titanium Aluminide Ultraslim Card Reader, not the USB dongle thing we're seeing now.

Yea very shady. If you go to their home page for the product https://www.easyacc.com/412-easya...eader.html then click on Amazon to buy it goes to this craplastic usb dongle.

EasyAcc, I'll remember this 'scam' next time one of your products is recommended. Dont buy!

1.) I haven't paid for Amazon Prime...ever. You can rotate email addresses (using the same name, address, and CC, apparently) easily enough. The free Prime offer resets every 6 months, so you only need 6-7 email addresses. Mine are all variations on the same thing and forward to the same address.

2.) I would assume SD only gets money from Amazon if the person makes a purchase. PPC is usually just for advertising, whereas referrals like this are usually more like cashback (purchase required).

I'm not TC'ing, but since you don't understand what's really happening in these "threads", I'll just leave you in the dark. I'm pretty sure you're used to being there, so you'll feel right at home.

I'll admit that I haven't done what you're suggesting, but I tend to not look for loopholes like that. shrug.....

Actually, my understanding is that the referral credit occurs even if something else is purchased... even hours later. I can't verify that, but have read it.

Still, it doesn't change my main point though, that if you don't have prime, shipping negates the deal unless you want to spend $50 and it's not a good deal for "non prime" members, hence the desire for a "Prime only" category. Save time clicking on useless deals.
