Receive a $10 Hy-Vee gift card when you spend $50 on the following gift cards: Lowe's, Domino's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Facebook game card, Nike, and Petsmart.
Offer valid 7/20/16 - 8/2/16.

Gift Card deal at HyVee [hy-vee.com] Grocery Store B&M, located in the midwestern states of Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

You can do multiple $50 gift card purchases per transaction. Also, YMMV: if you use your HyVee fuel saver + perks card, and your store offers bonus FSP with each gift card purchase, you'll receive an additional $.10 per gallon (4%) back in fuel discount per each $50 gift card purchased, bringing total savings for $50 gift card to 24%.

There is a federally mandated limit of $2000 per person (per year I think?) to curb money laundering.

I don't have any of these stores in my area, but great deal for those that do. Easy way to save a bundle if you have some large purchases planned.

No limit stated in the ad. However, stores may have general signage indicating gift card limit per person per day, such as $999.00 limit.

OP updated with additional info, bringing the deal to 24% off Lowe's or the other five stores, before using any cashback cc to buy the gift cards or Lowe's mover's coupon in-store (additional 10% off).

A couple of questions.

1. Do the HyVee GCs expire?

2. Can HyVee GCs be used to buy other gift cards?

Just wondering because it is a bit out of may way and I wouldn't shop there regularly, though do have family members who do.

To answer my own questions. I just went there. The HyVee GC's do not expire. The Cust Center said they can be used to buy anything, even other GCs. I didn't try it.

Since I was there, I also tried buying $2K in visa GCs. They said the limit the Visa GC's to under $1000, so I could buy 2, one at $500 and one at $499. They let me do this along with $100 in Lowes GCs at the same time.

Thinking of buy a few $K in Lowes since daughter is having a new house built and we could use them for the appliances in particular. Though I am not sure how the Fuel rewards would work. I am already at $1.2 off per gallon from my $600 in Lowes GCs. I guess I could try to get more fuel cards so I don't go over $2/gallon discount on each one. Possibly need a different phone number, and perhaps name spelling?

No need to buy gcs on separate FSP accounts. The price of the gas will be deducted from your FSP balance. You could have FSP balance of $3.00 and after you purchase 20 gallons, you'll have $.75 FSP remaining (assuming gas price of $2.259). The gas purchase doesn't zero out your balance. You just have to watch for the rolling 30 day expiration of the FSP points.

Was it in your ad the extra .10 on your FSP? I'm not seeing that portion.

LOL, this was me 2 years ago when Hy-Vee had a similar promo over Black Friday. Beware though that my online transaction (had to use a Lowe's 10% coupon) let me enter the 25+ gift cards but when hitting submit it got all kind of screwy. I spent a few hours and multiple days worth working with customer support to get the transaction to complete with the right gift cards. It was a joy!

The 4% FSP wyb gc is not in the ad, it's posted as a sign on the Gift Card kiosk (5 cents wyb $25, 10 cents wyb $50, etc.) Thought every store location offered 4% on gc purchases. Will edit the post.

That could still be the case, I didn't look in store yet so will check today. Thanks!

Thanks. Problem is going to be to try to use up about 60 gallons in a month if I buy $3K. Also tough to use 20 gallons at a time. (used to have a suburban, which wasn't a problem.)Thinking bringing gas cans or two cars at a time. Though I have a mixture of regular and premium gas requirements. I know I can put Prem in any car, but that is extra cost if not needed.
