Thumbs up if chase made the URL chaseultimaterewars.com instead of chaseultimaterewards.com!

Same hotel (La Quinta) on Priceline Exp Deal is $85/night. On Chase is $126.89/night. That is still $29 more expensive after factoring the 10% cashback. Chase Ultimate Reward is a fail on this one for me.

Edit: What worst is when I call Chase customer support to see if they would price match or give me the difference in credit, they flat out refused. Oh well...

YMMV is the word of the day. I have gotten absolutely sick deals through the UR website such as $99/night at the Hilton Times Square last year for the World Series when everyone else was over $180 and a week's minivan rental in Orlando from a name brand (Dollar?) under $150 all in. Other times, very "meh." Just like all the other travel sites...

nothing special especially on hotels.

i generally use priceline and save way more than 10 pct.

and when i don't use priceline i use hotels.com gift cards that i get for almost 40 pct off (buy ebay gift cards at a discount, then buy hotels.com gift cards on ebay when they're on sale and ebay is giving 8-10 pct back in ebay bucks)
