Firefox video player for Yahoo news?

ms2000 1,310 28 July 20, 2016 at 04:54 PM
When I make VLC player as the default on Win 10, my Firefox ver 47 shows an unresponsive VLC inside the Yahoo news - and there is no video?

I did not install adobe flash - had a lot of trouble with it previously.

When I uninstalled vlc, yahoo news works fine on FF - what does it use?

What can I do to ensure unresponsive vlc does not shows up inside the yahoo news video?

There was another application needs adobe flash on FF - but when I open it up on MS Edge, the application works fine even though I did not download and install Adobe Flash! What is going on here?

Easiest way to do this is probably to Uninstall VLC and start over. This can also be done in the settings I believe but I can't point you where to exactly. When you install VLC do the advanced install, you will come to a point of where it asks you which components you want to install. There is one that is something like "web Browser" uncheck this and you should be fine. Something like this. http://www.radioways.com/images/a...dows-3.gif

Microsoft Edge and Chrome both have Flash built in so that explains what's going on.
