Post trade offers in the Official Trading Thread while giveaways belong in the Official Giveaway Thread

here are the rules for trading.

trading is fine. you may trade out whatever you want but you may not ask for more than $5 valued gc. You must specify that it is a gift card and the value.

no buying, selling. paypal is considered buying/selling

just be aware that slickdeals is not responsible for trades gone bad. we keep it low so in case someone doesn't come thru on their end, it's easier to swallow.

bad trades happen...whether users are new or old, it doesn't matter....we hear about them all.

Is Lyft for one rider only? I mean does my wife have to have her own Lyft account and credits for us both to ride one ride to/from airport?

It's $15 off a ride. If your wife has a promo too and your ride is over $15, you can technically get off once it hits $15 then use her promo to take you the rest of the way. Lol.

Shouldn't they be upgrading their network instead of horse crap like this? They could completely dominate the US cell industry if they could equal Verizon's network. It should be priority #1 instead of games and giveaways. Their CEO is an idiot.

*** UPDATE ***

Split Payment for best use of credits during a single ride with multiple passengers.

https://help.lyft.com/hc/en-us/ar...Passengers

"Can I use credits?"

A new-ish feature allows you to split payment between riders at any time during the ride. You both nead a separate Lyft account and if you each happen to have credits, they should get used even in the split payment scenario.

--- Leaving this for reference ---

The Lyft credit is for up to $15 dollars towards a single Lyft ride. You can have up to 4 passengers in a standard Lyft vehicle during this ride. Minimum ride cost is $8 and any charges over $15 or tip amounts are charged to your credit card.

There are other options like Lyft Plus which allows for 6 passengers but is more expensive per mile / minute. And the new Lyft Premier with 4 passengers in a high-end car and costs more money.

Finally some places have the cheapest option, Lyft Line, which operates more like a bus service, picking up and dropping off riders along your (or the other riders') route. It's theoretically possible that both you and your wife request a Lyft Line from the exact same place to the exact same destination at the same time and get matched to the same car... thus using each of your accounts / credits separately and riding together. This may or may not work out and an airport trip is probably not the best one to try it. If you do end up doing it, I would be very curious to know how it went. look around

I couldn't agree with you more. Their checkout verification is a mess and a black hole, the can't seem to track their trade ins, network coverage is only ok for major metro areas but he is into all these stupid marketing stunts. ATT gave this idiot like 4 or 5 billion for the failed merger (some fee) and he is spending that on all this bs.

In before people complain about free rewards that they are under no obligation to redeem.
