2 of these or 1 SVS PB-2000? Will the BIC have any meaningful output below 30hz?

No, it won't.

The PB2000 sure will though.

If I was using it for just music (most of which doesn't go very low) in a big space with lots of seating than two cheaper subs is fine.

But for movies, in any sort of reasonably not-massive space, the PB2000 will be vastly better

(if it's movies and it IS in a massive space then your choices are live without deep bass, or spend a lot more money)

Good info... I actually have 2 of these BICs in one tv room and was impressed with their sound. When I finish the downstairs, I had planned on "upgrading" to something like the PB2000... This def helps confirm that.

I am looking at this and seeing $800 range. I was hoping you meant same price point for this as 2 of the BIC'sof around $500'ish. What prices are you seeing, and where when you had posted this? TIA, and reps in advance!

$649 from the outlet- finish is blemished but fully functional and still carried 5 year MFG warranty.

And it'll play an entire lower octave that the BICs can't reproduce.

Won't last long though, usual outlet pricing is $729
