Are you certain this includes Insider? I thought all subscriptions did, but I did not see that stated in the details of the deal when I followed the link to the deal.

I couldn't care less about the magazine and would prefer not to receive it, but I definitely want Insider.

According to this, it does: http://insider.espn.go.com/inside...-magazine/

You just need to input the 10 digit account number from the magazine mailer

Okay thanks, good enough explanation(s) for me. Had hoped to find the $4 deal from last year, but this is better than the $5 deal they ran at Father's Day.

Deal is good, but as always with these ESPN subs, watch out for the automatic renewals. The site (DiscountMags in this case) passes on your card details to ESPN and they'll renew your sub at full price.

Is this for first time subscribers or can it be added on to a soon to be expired subscription?

Just a tip, ESPN is a Disney company. They share your email with tons of their affiliates. I know this because I used the +trick@gmail.com for my email. Now... in doing this, anytime I received am email from Disney I clicked unsubscribe. The + in the email address creates an invalid url and I'm stuck in Disney email hell. Mind you... this has been going on for 8 or 9 years.

Try replacing that + in the URL with % 2B. As in '% 2Btrick@gmail.com' Although the server should be able to do that automatically

edit: Looks like the website is automatically converting my suggestion to a +. remove the space in % 2B

i have unsubscribed from Disney's VOD emails a billion times and each month a new one pops up like a weed with a new email address.

you are so right, fark them.

i would have jumped on this 1+ year ago, but i am actually turned off because ESPN.com has increased the amount of content that is behind INsider (almost all relevant NBA analysis) and that rubbed me the wrong way.

i rather go to a different site than pay ESPN what is essentially a ransom to read AP paraphrased shit.

i would pay for a Grantland subscription but we all know how that ended up....
