Got this for $45+tax on prime day, so $50 at newegg is good deal, as no tax. I had a Trendnet without external antennas, n-300. The external antennas really help. i'm now getting much better coverage all over the house.

Overall, I thought the router looked nice until I got to the LAN ports (4 x 10/100M). I would like to see 1000M ports to aid file transfers and streaming to/from the home server.

I bought this router two weeks ago on Amazon ($48 plus tax after instant $10 coupon). It replaced my old 2.4 ghz N router that was giving me lower internet speeds and not good range. Range is much better with the AC1200 router and speed tests consistently show me hitting or exceeding my 75 mbps download speed over wireless connection.

I have a switch for my home network. Unless you have a home server, this is a good router for the money.

just bought this, tried using my newegg rewards rebate card and was told if i want to use it it has be at or below the gift card balance which was $20. I complained how that doesnt mkae sense that i cant use the rewards Mastercard rewards and then use another payment, so instead they gave me $20 off the router and i still have the rewards card.
