This is a brand name from past. Make sure to buy insurance on this product else be prepared that, you are throwing money in trash.

Sansui was a somewhat popular but low end brand in 90s in India. It sold pretty much everything from tvs to vcrs/washing machines at cut rate prices. Quality was so-so and most products I owned at that time lasted less than a couple years.I would rate this brand on par with the likes of RCA, Element or Sceptre/Magnavox.

Before then they were a fairly high end stereo brand in the 70s. I remember they had some receivers and speakers that were really expensive.

But like so many other great brands of yesteryear, someone bought the brand name and slapped it on total shite. Another example of this is Nakamichi. Or Akai.

Pretty good deal if you just want a big TV. $0.19 per sq inch, can't beat that.

Another thread here with recent experience, lots of cracked screens. So, a bit of dice roll.

The model is not on Sansui's website. I sent an email earlier today to see if they can at least send some pictures of it's back ports and detailed spec sheet. Waiting for reply still.

The only info I can find is what is on Walmart product page.

so it has come down to buying TVs in cents per square inch like some material from a hardware shop. Smilie still remember my friend buying a 40 inch Sony TV for $2000.

At $250 all you have to do is buy the 2 or 3 year extended warranty from Walmart....as with any electronic item from Walmart, always buy their cheap extended warranty plan
