Pretty much. You just have to worry about the quality (google this) ad power need (google that too)

The eVGA isn't as good as this one. This is a Bronze Plus rated, but more importantly Corsair is highly regarded PSU. The CX500 which is the 500W version of this PSU was reviewed very well for the price, and bested all the other supplies on all, but one area. The review is on Tom's Hardware for those wanting to do research.

Get the Corsair one.

I can neither confirm nor deny this since it says it takes 21 days to receive the mail-in portion of the rebate and I have 10 more days left to hear back from them.

At first they said it was incomplete because the copy of the order email had a tiny sliver of the edge cut off (Hotmail print layout is horrendous and will not fit to page) and to resubmit the order conf. Resubmitted and then they said there was no UPC code included. OF COURSE because I sent the UPC in the FIRST TIME. Complete incompetence.

Hmm the EVGA one is more amps but less efficient. There's a greater percentage of 5 star reviews on the EVGA also. Decisions..

Would this be enough to power a 1070+6700K@4GHz rig?

Yeah, pretty damned incompetent. I would have pointed out the first email from them, along with a copy of it, and sent it in to them. The secret is not to give up, because this. is what some of them WANT you to do.

I'd recommend this semi-modular one on sale for $25.99 (after rebate) instead. Has better internal build quality and being modular on top of that, along with a longer warranty, is totally worth the $10 premium

It's the 450w Corsair:

All ATX power supplies are compatible except for some high-power ones that can be up to 1.5" longer, front to back, than this CX430, which measures about 5.5".

They're in the process of stiffing me as well. Claim they never got the information and now its too late to send a copy.

I sent 3 other rebates on the same day. All three (not corsair) are already approved and sending the rebate card. The last time I had a rebate not work out was the late 90's involving a company that went OOB three days after I mailed the rebate.
