I just purchased the TEG-S5g gigabit switch for $15.99 few days ago. Today it is $9.99

What is Newegg's price match policy? The customer service person seemed a novice. Kept keeping me on hold for every question. He are offering me a gift card of the difference?

If I return it, he said they will pay the mailing. But online it says customer pays the return mailing and also a 15% restocking fees. What is the truth?

TIA

I ordered the 5 port gigabit switch. If it gets here before the 8 port gigabit switch I ordered from Amazon on Prime Day, I might cancel the Amazon order, or just keep both. The 8 port was, and I think still is about $24 on Amazon, but says it won't ship for a while.

Very mixed reviews on the router. Positive reviews look scripted. Too many complains about dropped clients (possibly due to overheating issues?). The 68u is solid!

The router is great. I haven't had a single issue and I'm running the latest stock firmware. It's highly customizable, wifi is solid, range is great. I have a couple friends that also purchased this router and they love it as well.

I think the next WiFi provider device for my house is going to be one of the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi AC access points. I'm leaning towards the UniFi AC Lite AP which is about $80.

My Internet access is provider by my FIOS router, and it is currently providing WiFi too, along with 1 WiFi range extender, but I would probably turn off the FIOS router's WiFi and use the Ubiquiti to cover the whole house and then some.

I got this router for very cheap during Tigerdirect's liquidation and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever with it, although I use Merlin's firmwares on it as I have all of my Asus routers. It has performed every bit as reliably as the RT-AC68U it replaced.

edit: The only con I would give this router is the stupid placement of the USB 3.0 port.

I've had this router for about 18 months and haven't had any issues. Coverage is much better than the Linksys I used to have. I also love how it has a button to turn off all of the LEDs.
