Well lets clarify...they don't work with LTE which pretty much makes them useless for ME but for someone prepared only to get wcdma or slower it's alot of device for the price.

It seems like UMi intends to release a new version of their 'Super' handset, and this variant of the device will be compatible with 4G LTE bands in both the U.S. and Canada. This smartphone will be called UMi Super EURO2016 Champion Edition. the phone is Blue, while the regular UMi Super comes in Gray, Silver and Gold color variants.

I would be thrilled if more of these companies in china started putting us bands in their phones. I personally doubt that UMI will deliver on this promise, but I'm very tempted to buy the phone just to encourage this type of thing.

UMI doesn't have a great rep, but I'm pulling for them as they make some nice looking phones.
and that $180 price has been available for a long time. Every chinese reseller has this same "sale" weekly.

not much in the way of genuine reviews of this phone yet, but did find one on androidheadlines. it does come across as a little more like an advertisement than a review and it overuses "to say the least" like a mother...
