Very good PS. Unless you're doing multiple high end GPU's its way more than you need.

One thing to note is that it doesn't turn the fan on until about 250w pull (off the top of my head, might be a little more or less) so if you're running a fairly hot/smaller case and/or relying on the PS for part of your case ventilation this won't do much until you start gaming with a medium to high end gpu. So keep that in mind.

There is an on/off switch for eco mode under the modular cable ports.

My gold rmx650 doesn't have that! Glad they added it in on the platinums. Nice to have the choice.

This is an EVGA PSU, not Corsair.

EVGA comes from a wide array of manufactures. this one happens to be from superflower for what it's worth. It also includes a ten year warranty
