I agree Verizon is more expensive than other carriers. But I know some ppl prefer it because it has better signal in my area. Anyway, it's a good deal for those on Verizon, I think.

Just a heads up for anyone considering this phone, I'd read the Ars Technica review first here [arstechnica.com].

The Moto brand isn't what it used to be, now that Lenovo is at the wheel.

I really don't get why this would be getting thumbs down marks. For anybody that knows anything about this phone, Verizon has the exclusive on it for the 1st couple of months, prior to the GSM Unlocked version being available.

Additionally, the subsidized upgrade deal (directly through Verizon) is a $199 price + 2 year agreement and it doesn't come with a free JBL Moto Mod, which is a $79 add on.

I'm not on Verizon, but for those that were looking at this phone as an upgrade, I think this is definitely a great deal.

Verizon will pay for the switch cost up to $650.

Maybe they don't like postpaid bills.

Subsidized contracts seem like a good deal for people who are planning on staying with the same carrier and keep the same phone for 2 years.

It says the etf is $350.

For people with verizon already, get it, wait 15 days (terms espicificallt say you get chaved in ful within 14 days) and then cancel that new line. You have a brand new phone for about 350(etf)+40(act)+20(15 days service) +tax
Not bad for a preorder

meh, I've used it and like it better than the s7 edge. a lot of that guys complaints are dumb. I can find like 10 good reviews for every bad one on this phone.

That's a relative statement. No need to thumbs down because of your personal preference. Thumbs for this deal, good deal if you're looking for a new phone.
