This or Casio PX160? I tired them both at a guitar center, and couldn't really make up my mind. Action feels "fancier" on the PX160, but I think the sound routed from a P115 to 8" studio monitors will sound better. Also, is it just me or is the action on the PX160 exaggerated to catch people's attention? The keys on that one have a "bounce" that the upright piano we used to have lacked. It feels nicer, but I'm not sure if it's actually less realistic or not.

I tried several digital pianos before, including this and several others. I would say Yamaha P-155 has a better action in general compared to Casio. Casio has a better value considering the features they offer at their price. Yamaha is way more expensive. But if you're looking for action feel which is closest to acoustic piano, Yamaha would be the few option you should consider. Even though I ended up purchasing Yamaha P-255. If you're a pro player and don't mind using external speaker, check out Yamaha CP4. That one has even better action than P-255.

I think this is better than the Casio px160

I bought this during the last sale and I'm very happy with it. He best bang for the buck on a decent digital piano.

what's the cheapest deal for a weighted keys piano? It's for my little daughter so I don't want to spend a fortune...

Does this have good action that feels like an acoustic piano? I've never owned a digital piano before but my current living spaces won't allow an upright piano I used to own. I'm just asking because I tried my friend's fairly expensive digital piano before and it felt nothing like the acoustic piano I used to play on.

Good timing...my kid has been doing lessons, but he hasn't had a full 88 keys when practicing at home. I just need a deal on the L85 stand and the LP5A pedal unit now.

The one I'd like to see a comparison with is the Kawai ES-100. I would think the Kawai would be far better, but it never seems to go on sale either.
