Been looking at the lg's since really want a passive 3D tv and this is the cream of the crop for the non-oled models. This is also the lightest even lighter than its predecessor the uf9500. If I wasn't looking for a good deal just a great tv this would be it.
But ...$1900+tax ???? rotflmao, that price is ridiculous. $1300 not a penny more. Get a cheap 50 or 55 for now wait til price drops and you have 2 tvs for 1900
Thumbs down

I've watching this TV too, and search for review very often, as there are not very many.
The reviews on bestbuy user ratings are crap and not very useful,
Amazon is the same, not many reviews and not useful either..

I wanted a review from rtings or 4k.com or someone more reputable, but there isn't any.
Really wish someone with this TV, that has alot of knowledge on it could chime in...

But for now, this is the best price i've seen for this TV.
There was a deal during father's day, from PC Richards for $2,000,
So this is the best deal thus far, but too bad i can't price match best buy or something

For me, i'm looking at a 65" TV for around ~ $1,800
I'm down to this TV or the KS8000

Think the problem is the 9500 and 8500 are basically the same TV as car as specs go and the 8500 at time can be had for $1500

This is a great deal on an HDR and Dolby Vision capable TV.

Its an IPS so great viewing angles but not so great blacks.

Ok, in the market for a 65" 4K TV, been going back and forth on the Vizio P65-C1 and the Samsung UN65KS8000.

Looking at this TV it looks like it has all of the features that I would want, would this be a better buy? Would love to see a pro type review. What is everyone elses thoughts?

Ya, it's a tough call as LG has improved their IPS contrast some this year, but if you watch a lot of video in the dark then I'd rule out the LG... So between the Vizio and Samsung, well, depends on what kind of deal you can get. They both have excellent native contrast, but the Vizio will support both HDR formats and the Samsung only one, but the Samsung has awesome contrast and is very bright. On top of that, they have improved their uniformity and movie judder on the new KS line compared to last year too. The Vizio has superior active dimming, but the slight delay in lighting adjustment as the scene changes can be annoying to some too. Tough call overall, this LG is great for the folks who still like 3D, don't plan to watch in the dark and can benefit from the wide viewing angle of IPS.

I was also looking to purchase this TV and like I stated above there are very few and uninformative reviews available through Amazon Best Buy and etc.
But I went on a forum that had the 65" and 86" UH9500 owners feedback, and most of them weren't very good (just go to Google and type in uh9500 forum, I think it was avsforum.com)
Then again... I have not seen this TV myself in person, so I can't share my opinion.
The 65" KS8000. I have seen many times at BBC and Costco. and let me tell you.. it's amazing.
there are other LG IPS panels available next to it. and the viewing angle on the KS8000 was much better.
But to be fair the LG in comparison was a 6000 series I believe, so not the best in their lineup.

I'm in the market for a 65" like some of you guys, but for me, I'm going with the ks8000, it's just amazing for its price.

I'm sure the deal will pop up soon.
Last time 65ks8000 popped up, it was 1750 from ebay, through buydig or adorama, not sure

I own the Vizio P65 C1, for the money, it cannot be beat... we watch EVERYTHING in the dark ad there are 0 issues with the blacks and very minimal blooming...
