Anyone have any real world experience with this gun or manufacturer? Reviews seem highly mixed. Would love a nice 1911.

Mine runs great. Things were a little rough initially but after detail stripping and some polishing of friction points it is really smooth. Shoots well. Magazines function OK but are obviously not top quality. Invest in some Wilson 47d's...

Only known issue going forward will be customer service. Para doesn't really exist as it used to and I have heard that warranty service has been horrendous.

This is a great entry level 1911... if you get a good one. If it needs to go back for fitment work, good luck, you'll apparently be waiting quite a while.

I picked this gun up for a similar price but with a manufacturer rebate it ended up being sub $500 a year or so ago.
