Hey guys,

I didn't see this posted, so I thought I'd share.

OPTIONAL: Pay using PayPal and Apply Code: PP2016BTS at checkout. This will take an additional $25.00 off any purchase of $200.00+. (Details).

NOTE: In order to get to the $200 minimum balance for the PayPal Discount, you may wish to try this combo:
Add 1 PowerColor PCS+ Radeon R9 380X 4 GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card [newegg.com] to cart.
Add 1 Total Defense Premium Internet Security (5 User) [newegg.com] to cart.
Add 1 Refurbished Asus PCE-N53 N600 Dual-Band Wireless PCI-Express Adapter [newegg.com] to cart.
Final Cost: $221.97 - $25.00 PayPal Discount (PP2016BTS) - $20.00 PowerColor Rebate - $30.00 Total Defense Rebate [newegg.com] - $20.00 Asus Rebate [newegg.com] = $126.99 AR + S&H

NOTE #1: The Total Defense rebate requires that the software must be activated prior to rebate redemption. Activation will require a valid credit card however your subscription may be cancelled at anytime. A one-year subscription is included so this will not cost extra if you cancel the automatic renewal service. Please see the wiki for additional details.

NOTE #2: Although the $20.00 Rebate Form shows up on the Refurbished Asus PCE-N53 Product Page, the rebate form does not specifically mention it as eligible. It has 2 UPC codes (886227133673 & 886227133703) for this item as eligible. As long as you receive one of the 2 eligible codes on the packaging, you should be fine. Otherwise, Newegg will have to honor it themselves. You may wish to find an alternate $0.01 filler item from the Cables Section to avoid any trouble.

NOTE #3: Total Defense is only Premier eligible. I recommend signing into Newegg Premier in order to avoid the $2.99 S&H charge on that specific title.

I don't like deals with a single rebate. This has three to deal with???

Not to go off-topic, but would this card be able to support VR? I am currently torn between the RX480 or the 1060. But I am not really a hardcore gamer and really want this for the VR capable games only.

What's the point of this with the 1060 just coming out? Retail on it is $250 won't be a couple months before it's in the $170 range and it's faster than a GTX980 in most things. 120 watts too.

The 1060 is out of stock for one thing, and it's gonna be like that for at least a few weeks. Prices wont be dropping any time soon, and if it does it wont be below 200.

I'm definitely going to wait, in a few months they'll be under $200 for sure for something faster than a 980 in most things.

If by a few month you mean over half a year, go ahead a wait. New and better things are always coming out, so waiting is not a good reason anyways.

I suspect grabbing it at $225 with the coupon is the best you are going to do for a while on that card actually. Next month the slightly weaker 3gb GTX 1060 is due out for $200 and I'm sure a 1050 for around $150 will be out before long as well. RX 470 should be out for $150 sometime too and looks like it will be a good value from the supposed specs.

Looks like the correct bar code for the ASUS refurbished wireless adapter is 886227133703 according to this UPC lookup website [http://www.upcitemdb.com] so the rebate should work.

This is the best time in a long time to wait a few months.

VR minimum recommendations are GTX 970 or equivalent (390, 390x) so this would fall just short.

Uhh.. what? GTX 1050 is going to be just a rebranded GTX 1060 with 3gb memory which you can safely assume will retail for $200. In a few months the GTX 970 and 390 maybe $170, but not much else.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled. Usually the best deals for new cards come with a rebate, some type of merchant code discount, and payment discount - paypal, masterpass, visa checkout, etc.
