Logitech G933 Wireless Headset on sale for $149.99 at Amazon.com and Newegg.com

Previous low price of $149.99 in March 2016.

Amazon G933 [amazon.com]

Newegg G933 [newegg.com]

Good reviews for the price, check out the wiki below for review links and specs, I currently own one and enjoy it very much. They can be used in wireless or wired mode, (via USB or 3.5mm headset plug). Battery lasts at least 10 hours with the RGB lights off. I can connect to mine from clear across my house but your inference may vary.

In addition, G633 (wired version of this headset) is also on sale on Amazon and Newegg for $99.99. Dell.com has the same $100 gift card deal with the G633 on their website

Edit: looks like Dell caught on with the price match. $100 gift card is unlikely to work with online chat. Could try phone number for price match but YMMV

For an EXTRA SLICKDEAL, Dell.com sells the same headsets WITH $100 Promo eGift Card (expires after 90 days from date issued). The headset currently sells for $199.99 on Dell.com but they are do price matches with BOTH Newegg and Amazon. Making the total to be $150 PLUS $100 Promo eGift Card. Price matching can be done through their online chat system or through the phone. I did a price match about 12 days ago back when the G933's were ~$180 on Amazon and I just got the $100 egift card today. They say it takes about 10-20 days after the invoice is shipped out for you to receive your gift card.

Dell.com - Just search for G933 on the Dell website or use link below
(copy-paste link directly and replace DOT with ".", don't click through, earlier link wasn't working with the slickdeal re-direct)

Other key points I want to comment on:

I used to own a G930 and am very pleased to upgrade to the G933.

-The headset has two removable side panels, one over each ear cup. One holds the wireless transceiver, the other holds a replaceable battery pack.

-Headband is cloth, slightly less comfortable than the old G930 with pleather headband, but it won't end up peeling with extended use.

-The ear pads are also made of cloth, but REMOVABLE and washable. This was a big issue for me with the G930 since those were made of pleather and not easily replaceable, they tended to eventually peel off and disintegrate.

-Microphone fold upright and tucks in seamlessly into the left ear cup for easy storage and transport.

-I have a very wide head (usually need a hat with 50cm head circumference) but the G933 expands nicely and fits my head without feeling too loose or too tight.

-Some thing that I still have to get used to is the fact that the buttons are now located on the back of the left ear cup, they were on the side of the ear cup on the G933. Not sure how I feel about this yet, but I definitely prefer being able to take off the side panels to store the wireless transmitter inside.

As for the audio stuff, I can pin point directional pretty nicely, obviously it's only simulated 7.1 through Dolby Headphone technology since there are only two drivers. They also recently started supporting DTS Headphone X but I'm not sure how I feel about it just yet. Please checkout the reviews for more thoughts on audio quality, I'm definitely not an audiophile. These headpones suit my needs just fine though in terms of directional sound in gaming, using a mic, and ease of use and comfort. The RGB lighting is pretty sweet though I turn it off for battery purposes.

Hope that helps and good deal hunting!

Pulling the trigger on this, since I just got my $100 eGC from the G633s I bought two weeks ago to resell. TU

Hopefully the PM + Dell eGC comes through okay.

Good luck! The price match worked for me 12 days ago. I made sure to mention the egift card when I did the price match to make sure it was still going to come through despite price matching. Then I saved the email for the chat transcript as proof in case I didn't end up getting the gift card in 10-20 days.

I think the terms on dell's pricematching voids any gift cards.

I was able to do the price match on this very same headset 12 days ago and just got the gift card yesterday. I'm just saying it's not conjecture, I actually did this recently.

As for what their website says:

Quote :
What Dell won't match:

• Any "Marketplace" Pages where an order is fulfilled by a third party rather than the owner/operator of the retail website, for example, Amazon Marketplace pages.
• Any limited quantity, deal-of-the-day, flash sales, clearance, closeout, discontinued, "doorbuster," Black Friday/Cyber Monday (the week before and after Thanksgiving) and Green Monday prices.
• Any price that is based upon rebates, coupons, financing offers, errors, bundling of products or services, gift cards, or gift card offers.
• Any prices not advertised on one of the websites below.
• In-store only pricing.
• Any product purchase intended for resale. Dell will only match one item per customer.
• Any lower-priced offer for a product that is on a lead time, rain check, or out of stock. Product must be in stock and immediately available.
The matched price cannot be combined with any other promotion or discount. The requested matched price will be the final price.
• Price match cannot be combined with or apply to Dell's Member Purchase Program offers or discounts
• Any price from a paid membership club or paid loyalty programs (e.g. prices that require a club or loyalty card that is associated with a membership fee). Examples include, but are not limited to, Costco.com & SamsClub.com.
You might run into a little trouble with that highlighted part, but from what I can understand from the chat representative I worked with last time, if your order qualifies for the gift card, it eventually arrives at your email address regardless of the price match.

I would still save and document your chat log showing that the rep said you will get the gift card, just in case they don't end up sending you the gift card in 10-20 days. At least then you have something to back you up.

I mentioned it at the end and the rep confirms 10-20 days as well. Used up a pesky old Dell Advantage eGC too.

Awesome deal. Wish I had dell credits to use. Been looking for a g933 or g633.

Any idea how long the Dell gc promo might last? Ive never messed with Dell much so I'm not familiar with their routines.

Honestly not sure, but the promo has been there for 2 weeks now, off and on.

I end up selling the promo cards on eBay for about 85% of its value, then another few dollars off for fees.

Thanks. I was wondering what the cash value would be.
