Those are the same thing.

0.2(x+y) = 0.2x+0.2y

No they're not. Bad algebra.

Wording on coupon suggests 20% off total which is perfectly fine by me. Good find, OP.

I can't believe I have to give a basic math lesson. ffs

I'm not sure second rate math teacher failed you so spectacularly, but there's this thing called the "distributive property", which I know seems like a couple of big words, but stick with me, because things are going to get so complicated your head might just explode.

Distributive Property
a(x+y) = ax+ay

So in the case of these games, if you want to see what a 20% discount off the total or each individually you'd have to perform this incredibly complex calculation.

0.2(g1+g2) = 0.2(g1)+0.2(g2)

If you want to see the price you'd pay then you'd switch it up.

0.8(g1+g2) = 0.8(g1)+0.8(g2)

The only way there is a difference at the end is if the 20% is taken before or after tax.

Moron.

To my knowledge it is always done pre-tax.

It works with the basic 10% PUR bonus but not the additional 10% PUR Day Bonus.

So, no.

Someone stated it works with PUR bonus. Have them scan the pro day first, then 20%

It doesn't. The 10% extra comes up, then the 20% overrides it.

If you get a new code it will work more than once.
