You may be joking but that may confuse people. These are "jack stands", not "jacks". They only support the car after it is jacked with a "jack" . They work well but should always be used on a hard level surface.

the 4 ton is so much sturdier than the 2 1/4 obviously.... and obviously if you're getting under the car I'd recommend safer than sorry

So do the actual 4-ton stands have the little foot pad where the stands meet the floor? The first picture shows foot pad while the bottom two do not.

Did Sears buy a stake in slickdeals and is now a minority owner?

Are these 4 ton jacks made from unobtainium? The item weight shows 184 lbs. Still tempted, regardless. I got the crazy cheap Wally world 2 ton Torins for $6 a month ago (after fighting for the web site stated 6 bucks per PAIR pricing, and just used them yesterday for a transmission fluid and oil change. The extra height of the 4 ton pair might make the next one a bit easier.

Think I might have to get another set of 2 1/4 ton, they look nice and low. I still have cars so the tall ones suck.

For real, my deal alerts have been lit up all day. Too bad none of these prices are matched in Puerto Rico..
