HDR technology expands the contrast and color range of the existing pixels on your TV to reveal a better, brighter, more colorful image. The picture quality is noticeably more natural. - brisar

What does that even mean? There are no sources that even deliver 4K at 60Hz. 4K Blurays and netflix are all encoded at 24 fps, except for a few exceptions encoded at 48. TV is broadcast at 60 Hz. Don't just say things for the sake of saying them.

You actually have no idea about which you are claiming a degree of expertise. As a person who owns this TV's big brother, the 55 inch H9, you would have to go to the Samsung 9000 series to get this level of performance. Mine has FALD, 84 zone local dimming and nano-crystal technology, only found in Samsung's SUHD line. No Sony and no LG (unless you count the OLEDs) comes close to the picture accuracy of this TV. The Samsung 7000 series has horrible grey uniformity and the Sony XBR 900 series has extreme light bleed. So please, don't lecture us on how Sony and Samsung are the Porsches of TVs. The H8 is awesome-- has true FALD and local dimming. You won;t find a better TV than this south of 700 dollars.

Yeah, really. A brand is merely a name. It's the specs that matter. Also, a 4 year warranty is really damn good. I know someone whose plasma Samsung crapped out after two years and was no longer covered.

Man, I looked at this in store while debating whether to keep the Vizio P I had purchased and it was pretty damn sharp looking. At this price I kind of wish I could still return the Vizio.

Just bought this for total of $331.64 + tax ($379.99 - 10% off - $7(bb rewards) - 1% CB). Compare to the Sharp 50" $299.99, for $30 more, is this a better deal? It has 4K, 4 year warrenty, HDR compare to Sharp. I am worried because there's so few thumps up which means it's not a good deal. Should I cancel? TIA.

Man, that's a nice price for a 4k tv with hdr. Makes me regret spending $1100 on an 65xbr810c Sony earlier this year with no HDR. Does anyone know how this TV is compared to 2015 and 2016 Sony and Samsung tvs? I really want to see a TV with HDR. Also wondering about input lag in pc and game mode.

Been thinking about buying this when it first popped up on BB for $499.99. Now at $379.99 it's a done deal, just ordered one.
