Points don't roll, but still a good price so I got one anyway. Best to use points since the recent ones expire way too quickly.

They also seem to have the Craftsman Anvil Lopping Shears.
Are those not as good?

My quick look to compare the two show the Action Bypass is better for live branches while the Anvil is better for dead? What if there is a combo between live and dead branches to cut?

No you need bolt cutters to cut a lock. You'll just ruin the edges if you use this gardening tool.
