Heck of a deal for $80. I got mine for $65 plus free shipping after using $15 in Shop Your Way points.

My only concern is will it fit the Jessem router lift I plan on buying later? Worth the risk for $65

You're going to need a miter saw for crown moulding. You're going to need a miter gauge too. Walls angle are not going to be 90 degrees.

Needs:
1. Drill/impact driver
2. circular saw
3. miter saw

Wants:
table saw, drill press, router. (unless you're building cabinets then these becomes needs).

Don't need to buy all at once. Build up at you go.

Well, that was fairly awesome. I've been sniffing around that particular router for months, but never got enough of a deal sense to pull the trigger (I think the previous best price I had seen was $109).

Plus, I got $10 in mysterious points to use on this order (I didn't have any points, and the only Surprise Points I had listed was $5 off shoes), plus plus I got $26 back in points (SYWR members got back $25 in bonus points).

Overall, I have to tip my hat to OP for pointing that one out! (Reps awarded).

Oh, so tempting! But do I really need another router when I hardly use the two I have already?

I HATE YOU, SD! But props for the OP, and a TU on this deal anyway! Thanks!

I am first home owner, I need to do some crown molding for just one room and build some garden beds. Do you recommend this for crown molding ? I want to avoid paying expensive labor, I am a beginner.
I am debating between this, circular saw or table saw ?

Thanks..

I'd argue for the table saw. It will cover the most projects for one tool.

I'd suggest a 10" or 12" miter saw instead. I'm very happy with my 12" Hitachi on a portable Craftsman stand.

Thanks poetuan for detailed explanation. Why do I need both miter saw and circular saw ?
I got impact and regular set.
