I purchased this unit about a year ago for my work office and have used it every single day while in the office (even in the winter) and for a few weeks, it was on 24/7. Never once had a problem with it.

It has only been cheaper once, which was last year for about 12 bucks lower.

I combined this with Discover promotion for $10 off with 1-click and the quarterly 5% CB from Discover card for an extra discount.

This was FP back in May for $468!

That's probably because it's meant to cool up to 500 square feet, not 1,000 square feet.
Much to my chagrin, that's what she said.
That's because your unit is too small.

Thanks, missing link tho

Looks like a good price, according to CCC. I'm in the market for a new AC, but I'm not quite sure why I'd want this giant thing sitting in my living room rather than getting a window unit.

Weird... I put it in the spot that said Deal URL. It has the see deal. Maybe it is different for different browsers/mobile. I added it to the top of the post in the title. Thanks!

How much power does this thing use? I'm afraid it may blow my fuse.

Thank you. The reason I asked is because an Amazon reviewer said that it tripped it's circuit breaker when it was plugged into a 15A outlet. I was hoping someone measured how much this thing actually uses with a Kill-A-Watt.

Thank you so much. I've had my eye on this for while now but never pulled the trigger because I wanted to wait for some sort of sale. I ended up purchasing this through Bestbuy with price match over the phone since I had a few reward voucher credits.

Portable unit never cool as well as window units in a BTU to BTU comparison. However that being said the apt complex I live in will not allow windows units. They apparently make people's eyes bleed, their heads spin, and everything is covered in pea soup shortly there after. In situations like that these kind of units are the only option.

Have this on my base on base house. Given to us by my sister in law. Just good enough to keep the MBR cool and not much else. Also pretty loud, but we've gotten use to it.
