We picked out a hardwood we wanted. We waited too long and now it's all over the place, 3 boxes at one store, 1 box at another. Places I go sometimes or can plan a trip but it's across three states and I need about 20 boxes. Any way Lowes will work with someone to move inventory around? Guessing no, but wondered if someone had done it before.

Have you called Lowes? I don't know the answer to your question but several things come to mind.
1 - depending on the item shipping may be available and is often surprisingly reasonable - shipping from store drops off if this is a clearance item - if it is a low availability item and you don't want to post the item details PM me the item number or website link and I can help.
2 - when buying flooring or tile, buying from various stores may get you product from different lot numbers and the appearance may vary slightly. I did this with some gunstock oak flooring clearanced from home depot and it varied a bit, but I mixed the boxes before putting down the floor to minimize the effect.

I'm good, wife likes the Acacia better anyway and it's 5 inches wide, should be easier to install. It's only 20 cents more per square foot and no consolidating anything.
