Its not that beats suck, its that music is a massive part of the human experience. And recreating what took artists, recording staff and masterers thousands of hours, but with ungodly bloated levels of bass is just a big middle finger to the art.

You look like a tool wearing these, not because what they look like, but because the bastardization of music. Laugh it up, but I don't know why anyone who claims to appreciate music would want to hear the opposite of what those who made it intended. Nothing matters, anyways.

I tried the beat's, my biggest issue was being able to connect to multiple device's. my Bose studio wireless doesn't have a issue with multiple devices.

beets suck and u doo 2...

C'mon. They don't suck. Are they (normally) overpriced? Yes. Is the media hype surrounding them ridiculous? Absolutely.

I bought a refurbished pair of Studio Wireless phones a few months ago for $159. I'm very happy with them. They're comfortable and I find the sound to be quite good actually. The bass is strong without being overkill, and mids and highs are surprisingly nice too.

To compare, I also purchased a pair of Sony XB950BT, refurbished for $80. The bass is stronger on the Sony. It will vibrate your skull with the right song. But the overall soundstage is muddier than on Beats. Mids and highs can't compare to the Beats. So, overall, the Beats are the better 'phones (plus they look way nicer).

They're actually very nice headphones. Are they worth $400? Nah. But at under $200 the deal gets more compelling. Forget the propaganda from both the "Dr. Dre made them, so they gotta be dope" and the "Beats suck" camps, and realize that these are indeed decent headphones... at the right price.

The headline says on ear but the link provided to Amazon are over ear wireless. Over ear wireless cost a little more.

Beats studio is okay. However the noise cancelling is weak compare to Bose QC35 and there's the annoying hissing noise.

I prefer the mixers over these much louder no battery (it last about 2h on 75% vol) but less comfortable. If you plan on listening to anything other than rap/electron heavy bass stuff don't buy these. Tho you can always drop the bass on your EQ there are better all around headphones for half this price.

Because the Aplple headphones are so good? Beats headphones are all about bass and image, sound quality is secondary.
